Content Subject to 18 U.S.C. § 2257
Unlockt requires all persons depicted in adult-oriented content made available through the platform to be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time the content was created.
For content subject to the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, the applicable creator, uploader, producer or records custodian is required to verify the age and identity of each person depicted and to maintain the records required by applicable law.
Unlockt's Creator Terms require creators to maintain applicable age and identity documentation and to provide accurate and legible copies of such documentation immediately upon request.
Unlockt may request these records in connection with compliance reviews, complaints, investigations, or requests from payment providers, acquiring banks, card schemes, regulators or other competent authorities.
Where such records are required, the applicable creator, producer or records custodian must make them available without delay.
Exempt Content
Certain visual depictions made available through Unlockt may not be subject to the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A, including content that does not depict conduct covered by those provisions or content for which Unlockt does not act as a producer within the meaning of applicable law.
Records and Compliance Requests
Records required under 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A are maintained by the applicable creator, producer or records custodian in accordance with applicable law and Unlockt's Creator Terms.
Unlockt requires such records to be provided immediately upon request where necessary for legal, regulatory, compliance or card-scheme purposes.
